Challenge: LeJog - cycling from Lands end to John O’Groats in 9 days.

    Their Story:

It has been at least three years in the planning, but finally the dates have been set, accommodation booked, training plan in place - John and Daniel Braithwaite are going to take on LeJog in support of SAMS.

For those that don't know LeJog, this challenge is to go the full length of the country: from LE (Land's End) to JOG (John O'Groats) in one go. Their route is about 900 miles, and they will average about 100 miles a day, pedalling for 6-8 hours per day, meaning about 40,000+ pedal strokes per day whilst climbing a total of over 18,000 vertical meters (twice Mount Everest).

Starting on the 7th July, aiming to finish on the 15th July it's one epic challenge and they hope it'll be enough to persuade you to raise money for the great work SAMS is doing in the community with the local schools.

So, inspire John and Dan by backing SAMS and lend your support to focus on improving emotional and mental well-being in the local schools around Tadley.
