Our Vision

Is to see a community of children and young people who’s lives have been transformed through discovering hope in Jesus, becoming ignited by justice and empowered by compassion.

Our Mission

The SAMS mission is to transform the lives of children and young people through hope, justice, and compassion. We’re supporting a community of children and young people who are championed, heard, and empowered through, early interventions, youth pastoral care and community justice initiatives.

Our Core Values

SAMS is a Christian organisation built on Christian values. We support children and young people of all backgrounds, faith and none. Although our faith influences our vision and mission, it respects everyone that SAMS engages with.

  • The word 'HOPE' in bold white letters with a white underline on a teal background.

Children and young people lack hope in their lives and we know that hope is one of the most powerful feelings we can experience.

Hope is life-giving and we believe transformative hope is found in Jesus. It helps children and young people to look forward and to celebrate how far they’ve come. Discovering hope can lead to acts of justice and compassion for others.

  • The word "Justice" written in bold white letters on a teal background with two white lines underneath.

Justice is the igniter to our work and vision. We believe every young person deserves to be given an opportunity to discover hope that leads to a transformative love for themselves and others. It’s an injustice that so many children and young people are suffering with poor mental and emotional wellbeing.

SAMS exists to bring justice through our work while harnessing the natural justice within children and young people to become a generation of change makers.

  • The word 'Compassion' in bold white letters on a green background with a white underline.

The team at SAMS cares deeply about children and young people. Compassion is our natural response to the injustices we have uncovered. It is the fuel to our work moving us into action.

Compassion comes from a place deeper than empathy or knowing right from wrong. It’s a non negotiable move into an infectious action. It inspires other to join the movement.
