Jacks Story
Jacks Story
The names of these beneficiaries have been changed to protect their identity.
When I first met Jack he was referred to me due to some strong anger issues presenting themselves in negative ways that was impacting many areas of his life and those around him. We worked together across the course of a year on different projects using a play therapy approach and built some brilliant things! We would spend weekly sessions chatting and talking through different emotions and situations that had arisen.
Jack now responds to situations in a different an much more positive way. His mum told me of how much of a difference this support has made to him and the school have told me he is “completely different” to how he was before SAMS support was introduced.

Molly’s Story
The names of these beneficiaries have been changed to protect their identity.
Molly was referred to seek support from SAMS + their partner TLG by her school. She was dis-regulated and struggled to maintain friendships + needed support with her emotional wellbeing. After spending a year with Molly, she was asked by her teacher some questions about SAMS support. Here’s what she said:
Please can you share two things you loved about the coaching…
Talking to Sam
Playing fun things with him
Do you think that coaching has helped you? If yes, please can you tell us how?
He listens to me
We talk it out together and he gives good advice.
Because of the coaching through SAMS I…
Feel more able to manage my emotions
Feel more positive
Feel calmer
